Fellow Nomads.
This coming Sunday we have the first of our dual venues. Raygill and Blithfield.
Raygill is limiting us to 14 places due to higher than normal water levels - so it advisable to book your spot on the bank.
Nathan is leading the other trip so arrangements are made through him.
Cheers fellas.

A non-too easy day out on the water today at Arnfield Fly Fishery, Derbyshire. The biting North / North-Westerly wind and cold water temperatures, with the occasional drop or two of H20 and hailstone didn't spoil a grand day out. It was good to see that all the Nomads got into a few fish - especially those that are relatively new to the sport.
Top rod today was Mike Frith with 15, closely followed by Aaron Carnie with 11. Most of the fish caught were recently stocked fish averaging 2-3lb; however Aaron bagged a cracking Brownie off the North-East bank and Mr Secretary had a decent Rainbow of approx 5.5lb.

Best wishes go out to Nathan Jones and Paul Johnson who will be representing the club at Stocks Reservoir in the Greys Pairs. Good luck chaps.....may your lines be tight and the fish plentiful. Go Team Nomads!

North West Nomads in the Lancashire Evening Post!
The North West Nomads featured in the Lancashire Evening Post this evening. A nice little article that promotes all that is good about our club.
Some of the details were slightly off the mark, but a good promo all the same.

Mere Beck 02-03-2014
Not too bad today at the Beck. Nine Nomads members turned out for the trip including two newbies - Tim Young and Nigel Graham.
All members found fish with top rod today being our England Youth team member, Aaron Carnie, who managed to bag 17, including some cracking wee Brook Trout. Next to the podium was Clive Parry with 9, Paul Johnson with 8 and Mr Secretary, Steve Elliott with 7.
