Barnsfold Trout Fishery

First of all i would like to wish all nomad friends and members a very happy new year!
All the best and tightlines from North West Nomads Fly Fishing Club UK.
We met at the waterside for 9:00am, with a few of us meeting at Guys Court for a cracking all you can eat breakfast! - for around £6.00 you can stuff your face with a three of even five course breakfast! Which will keep you going all day chucking fluff....
A Club recommendation...
Anyway on to the fishing, a flat calm Barnsfold trout fishery welcomed the Nomads, never before have i personally seen a flat calm barnsfold! - so tackling up we discussed tactics, and a few secret patterns made onto our leader.
Top rod when i left the water, was fellow nomad Jim McGinley with 4 bows, including a cracker around 5lb. Caught to various patterns, but the good old olive snake did well on the day, landing a few nice chunky bows and browns.
